Our services are for anyone who identifies as a small business owner, entrepreneur, creative, or any other brand of self-employed individual. We specialize in working with people who are brand new to the legal world or those who are more seasoned but in need of support.

If you’re in need of high-touch or custom support, East & Bay is the right fit for you. If you would rather invest in quality and thorough legal contract templates at a fraction of the cost, The Artists’ Lawyer is probably the right place for you. 

What is the investment to work with East & Bay?

We believe in fair, transparent pricing for all of our legal services and want you to feel fully confident in investing in us. We have standard rates for all of our services on their application page, which you can view here. Our hourly rate is $450 per hour. After you submit your application, we can also send a custom quote or estimate where applicable.

Where are you licensed? 

We are currently licensed to practice law in the state of New Jersey and can assist with projects pertaining to the federal law (like filing trademarks and copyright infringement, for instance). 

I don’t live in New Jersey. Can you still help me?

Absolutely! We can work with you on things like custom contracts, filing your trademark(s), or on your new business strategy and start up guidance, for example. If your project requires state-specific legal counsel, we’ll let you know and recommend someone if we have a recommendation of someone in your state from our network. 

HOW DOES SCHEDULING WORK?

We schedule projects on a first-come, first-serve basis. Our staff also follows a strict, high-touch communication policy with our clients, and we are incredibly diligent when scoping and planning our client capacity. For this reason, you may experience a 4 to 6 week wait time before we can begin your project.
